EGR 180 - CAD (Computer Aided-Drawing) with SolidWorks Description: Fundamentals of graphical communications, including sketching, computer-aided drafting, design, and parametric modeling.

Learning Outcomes:
- Define engineering graphics and explain its history. (1)
- Decribe and show the basic parametric modeling procedure. (2)
- Create 2D sketches in SolidWorks using dynamic viewing commands and parametric dimensions. (2)
- Illustrate the different extrusion options in SolidWorks and utilize geometric relations to display and modify parametric relations. (3)
- Define dimensioning nomenclature and create drawing layouts from solid models. (4)
- Set up the tolerancing option in SolidWorks to meet ANSI and ISO standard fits. (4)
- Use the assembly modeling methodology to place parts using SolidWorks SmartMates. (5)
- Create exploded assemblies and assembly drawings in SolidWorks. (5)
