Learning Outcomes:
- Prepare different types of plates for printing.
- Anticipate and work with image reversal.
- Utilize collograph techniques employing various materials.
- Print using manual processes.
- Use an etching press.
- Utilize overlay and other multiple printing technique
- Apply inking processes using both water-base and oil-base printing materials.
- Employ inking techniques, including additive/subtractive, stencils, viscosity and reworking plates.
- Exercise equipment safety and proper studio maintenance.
- Identify, analyze and utilize the formal elements and principles of design.
- Recognize historical or contemporary examples of the fine arts or crafts.
