ELT 135 - Robot Operator Description: Fundamentals of robot operation including robot movement, robot sensing and decision-making with I/O devices. Students will have the opportunity to certify as FANUC HandlingTool Operator/Programmers and Universal Robots Operators.

Learning Outcomes:
- Identify and describe robot components including degrees of freedom and number of axes. (1)
- Utilize multiple languages and teaching methods to program different types of robot motion. (2)
- Utilize multiple languages and external devices to add sensing capabilities to a robot. (3)
- Utilize widely-used programming structures in a variety of situations including conditional and unconditional branching, looping and the use of variables. (4)
- Describe different types of robotic workcells and their applications. (5)
- Utilize multiple languages to define robot and workcell features such as tool center points, remote tool center points, workcell safety borders and auxiliary workcell equipment. (5)
