ELT 126 - Solid State Devices Description: Characteristics and operation of solid state devices including diodes, thyristors, bipolar and field effect transistors. Includes power supplies, diode circuits, transistor biasing and operation, triacs, and silicon-controlled rectifiers.
Prerequisites: ELT 111 and ELT 112

- Semiconductor theory and operation
- Diode power supplies and circuits
- Bipolar transistor biasing, operation, amplifiers and circuits
- Field effect transistor biasing, operation, amplifiers and circuits.
- Thyristor biasing, operation and circuits
