MAT 230 - Calculus and Analytic Geometry II MAT 2230. Description: Concepts, techniques and applications of integration, infinite series, and introduction to differential equations. Note: Computer use and graphing calculator required (TI-83/84 recommended).
Prerequisites: MAT 220

- Techniques of integration including substitution, integration by parts, partial fractions and integration tables
- Numerical methods for integration
- Applications of integration
- Infinite Series
- Taylor series and polynomials
- Separable differential equations
- Parametric and polar curves

- Compute definite and indefinite integrals using advanced techniques of integration. (1)
- Approximate definite integrals using numerical methods. (2)
- Solve applied problems using integration. (3)
- Analyze the convergence of infinite series. (4)
- Approximate functions using Taylor series and polynomials. (5)
