SOC 140 - Sociology of Relationships and Family Description: Examination of macro and micro factors affecting relationships and families. Exploration of elements of diversity (gender, race/ethnicity, social class, education, culture, age cohort), relationship issues (communication, role expectations, conflict, dissolution, violence), family challenges (work/family balance, parenting, child care, stress, role conflict), and success strategies.
