- Concepts in weight management
- Basic nutrition
- Eating behavior technique
- Strategies for changing eating habits
- Lifestyle modification and behavior change
- Exercise programming for weight loss, weight gain and weight maintenance
Learning Outcomes:
- Explain the physiology of weight loss, weight gain, and weight maintenance. (1,2,6)
- Identify behavior techniques and strategies that assist weight loss, weight gain, and weight maintenance. (3-5)
- Identify the role of a lifetime exercise program as the key to a successful weight loss and weight maintenance program. (5)
