PSY 210 - Brain and Behavior
Description: Investigation of the human brain and how it affects our behavior. Includes optical illusions, hallucinations, phantom limb, biological drives and the ability to remember and forget. Observable behavior in mental disorders such as schizophrenia and anxiety, the chemical processes in the brain, and the effects of illegal and prescription drugs on the human body and its various systems.

- Explain the past and present methods of research surrounding physiological perspective of psychology. (4)

- Evaluate historical and current theories on sensory perceptions, learning & memory, internal regulation, stress and dreams. (6, 8,10,12)
- Connect the structure and function of different brain regions along with hormones to explain the diversity of human behavior across age, gender & abnormal behavior. (5, 7, 9-11, 15,16)
- Explain the different routes of learning and memory. (12)
