IHM 215 - Practicum: Massage Therapy for Special Populations
Description: Practicum consisting of hands-on experience with emphasis on massage for special populations under supervision.

Course Content: 1. Clinic orientation and safety for special populations
2. Supervised special populations massage sessions
3. Applied body mechanics and therapist self-care
4. Draping, hygiene, sanitation, and infection control
5. Professional communication with clients and co-workers
6. Client documentation and record-keeping systems
7. Ethics, legal responsibilities, and liability in practicum
