IHR 130 - Pathology & Assessment in Reflexology

 

 
Description: System-by-system review of the ten bodily systems as related to the microcosm theory in reflexology. Pathology and symptomology are reviewed in-depth. Client history taking, Subjective Objective Assessment and Plan (SOAP) notes and treatment plans are taught.

Learning Outcomes:
  1. Explain the microcosm theory and its application to reflexology assessment. (1)
  2. Identify common pathologies and symptomology of the ten body systems in relation to reflexology practice. (2)
  3. Analyze the impact of systemic disorders on reflex assessment and treatment planning. (3)
  4. Collect client history to inform reflexology care. (4)
  5. Accurately complete SOAP notes for reflexology assessments and sessions. (5)
