IHR 150 - Emotional Balance in Reflexology
Description: Focuses on Western and Eastern theories as they relate to the balance of body, mind and spirit, as well as zone theory. Includes a hands-on component for the feet or acupressure points of the feet, hands and body points, including therapeutic meridian brushing.

- Mind-body connection
- Western and Eastern theories of emotional balance
- Zone theory and its application to emotional release
- Facilitated dialogue and mindful client communication
- Reflex points and acupressure for emotional balance
- Therapeutic meridian brushing
- Hands-on applications: feet, hands, and body points
- Adaptation of reflexology techniques
Learning Outcomes:
- Explain how life experiences and trauma may be held in specific organs and body areas. (1)
- Compare Western and Eastern perspectives in reflexology. (2)
- Identify emotional and energetic patterns in the body. (3)
- Facilitate a dialogue to support mindful emotional release. (4)
