IHR 190 - Reflexology Assessment I

 

 


Description: Introduces the Ayurveda elements found in the toes, their meaning and how to give a basic toe reading to another. Coaching language and potent questions are introduced.

Course Content:
  1. Foundations of toe reading and holographic body theory
  2. Cell memory, life stories, and emotional imprints in the toes
  3. Ayurvedic elements and their representation in the toes
  4. Position, shape, and energy of the toes
  5. Active listening and coaching language for toe reading
  6. Questioning techniques for insight and change
  7. Metaphoric connections and interpretive frameworks in toe reading
  8. Basic toe reading

Learning Outcomes:
  1. Explain the theoretical foundations of toe reading and its relationship to holographic body mapping. (1)
  2. Describe how cell memory and emotional experiences may be reflected in the toes. (2)
  3. Identify the Ayurvedic elements associated with specific toes and their symbolic meanings. (3)
  4. Observe toe position, shape, and energetic qualities. (4)
  5. Employ active listening and coaching language in a toe reading session. (5)
  6. Use questions for client self-reflection and insight. (6)
  7. Apply metaphoric connections to interpret client narratives and toe presentations. (7)
