The Advanced Manufacturing degree is designed to teach students marketable skills in high tech automated manufacturing processes that incorporate innovative technologies to improve production of products from design to manufacturing stages.

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Industrial Machine Mechanic Degree program, the learner will be able to:
- Troubleshoot, replace, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic system components. (IPT 110, 160, 295, MET 160)
- Fabricate and repair industrial machinery components. (CNC 101, 102, IPT 261, 295, MET 116, WLD 112 or 113, 250)
- Safely utilize machine shop equipment. (AGS 101 or CSA 126, IPT 261, 295, MET 116, 150)
- Implement and control automated manufacturing processes. (CNC 101, 102, 201, ELT 101, 165, 272, IPT 261, MET 160)
- Repair and replace valves. (IPT 135)
- Design components and assemblies using Solid Works and Feature CAM. (CNC 201, EGR 180)
