AA, Humanities Intent - Suggested Course Sequence
The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree is designed for the student who plans to transfer to an Arizona public university as a junior to complete a Bachelor's degree. A student who earns an A.A. degree from Yavapai College meets the lower division general education requirements of an Arizona state university, but does not automatically meet the requirements for a particular major.
It is recommended that you contact an academic advisor in the major field of study at the transfer institution, in addition to meeting regularly with an academic advisor at Yavapai College.
If you are a full-time student and each step is completed in a semester, you will complete this program in two years. If you are attending part-time, it is recommended that you follow the steps and calculate your individual completion time.
