The Custom Firearms Design and Manufacturing Certificate prepares students with highly specialized training in the areas of Precision Slide and Barrel Fitting, Custom Stock Design and Fabrication, and Advanced CNC Programming and Operation to incorporate modern manufacturing technoligies, enhance precision machining and design capabilities, and ensure graduates are prepared for the technical demands of today's gunsmithing industry.
Credit Hours Required: 11
Note: To obtain the optional Custom Firearms Design and Manufacturing Certificate, students must be concurrently enrolled in the Gunsmithing Program and complete four specific courses across the semesters without breaks. Enrollment in the first semester is mandatory, as this course block is not available for separate enrollment.

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Custom Firearms Design and Manufacturing Certificate, the learner will be able to: - Program and operate CNC machinery.
