Prepares students to work as an HVAC Service Technician in residential, commercial settings and high-tech manufacturing environments where uptime, precision and efficiency are critical.
Credit Hours Required: 24

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the HVAC Service Technician Certificate program, the learner will be able to: - Demonstrate safe work practices in compliance with HVAC industry standards.
- Perform repairs on HVAC equipment ensuring compliance with industry standards and restoring functionality.
- Resolve electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC machinery using systematic diagnostic techniques.
- Service Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in HVAC systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Clearly communicate service findings and recommendations to customers and employers.
