The Robotics Certificate is designed to prepare students for entry as a robotics programmer/technician. These technicians and programmers can find employment in multiple industries including semiconductor manufacturing, processing operations, and material handling.

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Robotics program, the learner will be able to: - Demonstrate safe working practices in an industrial robotics environment.
- Compare and contrast robot drive systems.
- Describe the effects of payload on robot repeatability and accuracy.
- Select manipulators and end effectors based on payload considerations for a given application.
- Program an industrial robot for a manufacturing task.
- Utilize vision systems for object detection, error proofing, and safety bounding.
- Operate a robot equipped with auxiliary sensors including vision, touch, and sound sensors.
- Describe common communications protocols used with robots.
- Identify artificial intelligence applications in robotics.
- Program an autonomous robot.
