Program Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Massage Therapy Certificate, the learner will be able to:

3. Demonstrate proper body mechanics.  
4. Demonstrate draping, hygiene, sanitation and safety for client care.
5. Apply ethical and legal requirements for integrative health.
6. Utilize anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
7. Apply various massages to clients with specific needs.
8. Communicate professionally, including verbal and nonverbal interactions, with others.
9. Demonstrate clinical documentation.  
10. Combine professional components such as job readiness and workplace dynamics as they relate to massage therapy.
11. Evaluate massage therapy's role in complementary and alternative medicine.
