The Bachelor of Design in Visual Design prepares individuals to design integrated campaigns, print and packaging, motion, immersive environments, and interactive systems. Advanced studios focus on brand systems, experiential and interaction design-including complex interface architectures, microinteractions, reusable design-system patterns, and multisensory spatial communications-across multiple touchpoints.

Hands-on coursework mirrors professional practice through collaboration, audience research, prototyping, and real-world production. A capstone sequence and portfolio course synthesize research, substantiate design decisions, and deliver implementation-ready outcomes at a professional standard. Graduates present an interactive, industry-aligned portfolio of case studies demonstrating cross-platform fluency, evidence-based practice, and strategic visual thinking.

Credit Hours Required: 94

∞Note: This program can be completed entirely online. Not all general education options or program electives are offered online, however there will be a variety of online classes from which to choose in order to meet the requirements.

General Education Requirements (34 credits)
