CNC 201 - Computer Aided Programming for CNC Machining
Description: Two-dimensional designing of machinery parts using Feature Cam software. Includes design and illustration of the part, tooling sequencing, starting a lathe using Feature Cam, part cutting simulation, and Numerical Control Code.
Prerequisites: CNC 101 (may be taken concurrently)

Course Content:
- Tooling for machining centers
- Using FeatureCam
- Introduction to 2.5D milling
- Introduction to turning.
Learning Outcomes:
- Describe tooling used in a CNC Mill Machine. (1)
- Produce a CADD drawing for CNC machines using Feature Cam. (2)
- Produce a 2.5 D milling part. (3)
- Manage a CNC lathe and Mill after Feature Cam programming for production of parts.(4)
