Description: Advanced helicopter flight operations and navigation, including mountain flying techniques. Preparation for Federal Aviation Administration commercial pilot oral and practical test. TRAINING HOURS: Dual: 31.0; Solo: 26.5; Ground: 17.75; Pre/Post: 17.0.

- Construct, execute, and revise in flight, a cross-country flight plan. (1, 2)
- Integrate dead reckoning, pilotage, and radio navigation procedures into flight and simulated emergency scenarios. (2)
- Weigh factors and prescribe multiple solutions to simulated emergencies. (3)
- Identify and maximize night flying navigation and terrain avoidance techniques. (1,4)
