PHI 101 - Introduction to Philosophy PHI 1101. Description: Introduction to questions in the major areas of philosophy, including the nature of reality, knowledge, values, and argumentation. Some questions may include: What is a person? What is the mind? Is there an afterlife? Do we have souls? How do you know that your beliefs are true? Does God exist? How can you determine the right way to live? What is the right way to argue? What is happiness? What is the meaning of life? Includes the history and topics of philosophy, critical thinking and the intellectual tools to study these topics in greater depth.
Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency.
