CBT 120 - Basic Residential Plumbing Description: Basic knowledge and skills used in the residential plumbing trade. Includes safety, materials, measurement, and installation of water, waste, and gas plumbing systems.

Learning Outcomes:
- Describe jobsite safety rules, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures. (1-6)
- Demonstrate plumbing as part of the entire residential construction process and its interrelationships with other residential trades. (3-5, 7)
- Demonstrate safe use of basic hand and power tools. (1,2)
- Perform plumbing measurements and calculations. (3)
- Relate information from plans and drawings to actual locations. (3,4)
- Interpret plumbing building codes. (5)
- Explain function and purpose of plumbing fixtures and equipment. (6)
- Explain the different types of piping materials commonly used in residential plumbing.
