The Electronics Technology certificate prepares students for a wide variety of careers in Electronics Technology as an electronics technician, communications technician or field service engineer.

Program Outcomes


Upon successful completion of the Electronics Technology Certificate program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits. (ELT 111, ELT 112)
  2. Troubleshoot digital, microprocessor, and programmable controller-based circuits. (ELT 162, ELT 165, ELT 183)
  3. Troubleshoot solid state and communications circuits. (ELT 126, ELT 221)
  4. Troubleshoot pre-bugged equipment including symptom recognition, fault isolation and repair. (ELT 258)
