ART 211 - Life Drawing II Description: Emphasis on drawing forms. Personal growth and individual techniques developed through projects emphasizing various media and techniques in drawing history. Application of design principles.

- Contour and studies
- Modeling of figure with value
- Modeling of figure in color studies
- Study of bone and muscle structure
- Completed compositions
- Experimentation with media
- Formal elements and principles of design
- Historical and contemporary art examples

- Utilize contour and gesture studies in finished drawings.
- Model the figure in black and white.
- Model the figure in color.

- Develop total design awareness through development of the background and support areas of the figure.
