RAD 170 - Radiology Patient Care and Pharmacology Description: Concepts of patient care with consideration for the physical and psychological needs of the patient and family. Includes the practice in the application of routine and emergency patient care procedures, infection control procedures, venipuncture, patient education, as well as the basic concepts of pharmacology within radiology.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Radiologic Technology program. Reading Proficiency.
Corequisite: RAD 100, RAD 111 , RAD 125 , RAD 141L , and RAD 175 .
