BSA 310 - Logistics and Supply Chain Theory Description: Intermediate concepts of Supply Chain Management and Logistics theory. Emphasis on inventory management, supply distribution, procurement and strategic sourcing, asset management, and risk mitigation techniques.
Prerequisites: Program Admission. ACC 131, BSA 131, CSA 110, ECN 232, and ECN 236.

- Formulate the various transactions that accompany the movement of goods and services throughout the globe. (1-4, 9-12)
- Analyze business scenarios, including operations related to purchasing, inventory, management, manufacturing, distribution and related functions. (1, 5-8, 11, 12)
- Appraise current issues affecting operational decisions in product and service related industries. (1, 3, 9-12)
- Analyze political and cultural issues affecting movement of products in a global marketplace. (7-12)
- Design a project plan for a start-up organization that integrates TQM, JIT forecasting, inventory theory and supply chain management concepts. (1-4, 9-12)
