AIT 105 - Modern Maintenance Operations Description: Basic skills needed to work in industrial repair and maintenance shops, emphasizing safe and efficient use of tools, tool maintenance and maintenance documentation.

- Safely set up shop environment for various production and maintenance tasks. (1)
- Demonstrate the use of both metric and Imperial measurement devices. (2)
- Select and use appropriate hand tools for common production and maintenance tasks. (3)
- Select and use appropriate taps, dies and fasteners for specific applications. (4)
- Identify and correct common threading problems. (4)
- Select and use appropriate power tools for common production and maintenance tasks. (5)
- Demonstrate the safe use of basic rigging tools. (6)
- Interpret basic mechanical drawings and blueprints. (7)
